23 Ways to Practice Self Care at Home

Hey everyone!

I know a lot of us are struggling to feel “normal” with everything going on lately, me included. To help with that, it’s important to take care of yourself. And luckily, there are plenty of ways to practice self care from the comfort of your own home.

  1. Unfollow social media accounts that make you feel bad about yourself
  2. Distance yourself from toxic friendships
  3. Take a bath
  4. Do a face mask
  5. Paint your nails
  6. Go for a walk and get some fresh air
  7. Put your phone on “do not disturb”- even if it’s only for a few hours
  8. But also call a good friend or someone you haven’t spoken to in a while
  9. Listen to some upbeat music and dance
  10. Make your bed
  11. Stay hydrated!
  12. Light a candle
  13. Watch a TV show that makes you laugh
  14. Do some yoga! (There are plenty of free classes on YouTube)
  15. Sit in your backyard and watch the clouds
  16. Cook yourself a big, healthy breakfast
  17. Declutter your room
  18. Put your phone on airplane mode for an hour or two
  19. Wake up AND go to bed early
  20. Morning and evening meditation- reflect on your day
  21. Get dressed for the day
  22. Write a love letter to yourself
  23. Journal- write down your thoughts, goals, etc
